In the 6th district of Vienna, 15 minutes walk from the city center and Karlsplatz, and one station away from Deutschinstitut with U4 underground line, the Naschmarkt awaits you with its tremendous selection of fruits, vegetables, fish, and exotic specialties. There are also a number of excellent bars and restaurants, featuring everything from Austrian food, to Middle Eastern, Indian and Thai cuisines amongst others. This market is open during the week from 6 am to 6.30 pm, and on Saturdays from 6 am to 1 pm. On Saturdays there is a flea market, where one can find anything that can be imagined, from valuable antiques to kitsch or junk.
