| In the middle of Vienna's historic center, just opposite of St. Stephans Cathedral, where the Haas commercial premises existed before they were destroyed during the Second Wold War, architect Hans Hollein erected the controversial Haas Haus building. This is a shopping center with a cafe on the rooftop. The glass - metal facade reflects a distorted image of the St. Stephans Cathedral. |
